The First Case. A photo documentary.
On May 12, 2008, neuroArm made history when the the robotic system operated on a human patient at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary. This landmark operation was the first time a robot was used to perform image-guided neurosurgery, removing a brain tumour from the 21-year-old patient.
