First Case Images
On May 12, 2008, NeuroArm made history when the the robotic system operated on a human patient at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary. This landmark operation was the first time a robot was used to perform image-guided neurosurgery, removing a brain tumour from the 21-year-old patient. To view images of the operation, click here.
First 3T Case Images
On November 5, 2010 neuroArm was back in the operating theatre assisting in the removal of an acoustic schwannoma. The case was the first in the new 3T iMRI enviroment as well as the first using our new high definition 3D vision system. To view images of the operation, click here.
